What not to pack for Brazil?

Packing light is always good, but be sure you have all you need before you go! Some things are not easy to find there, so follow those simple rules to pack the perfect bag:

Remember the median annual income in Brazil is about US$ 3,600

Don't show you have money! Stay below the US$ 3,600 average Brazilian revenue or you'll be at great risk. So leave jewellery, watches... at home. Always carry small notes on you, and enough to last you through the day.

NO drugs! Don't get caught while travelling! You'll find all you need whilst there, Brazilians know to party, trust them.

NO weapons! You'll need a permit - in Brazil they don't joke about it - and travelling with them is illegal. So forget about guns, knifes... keep a low profile and enjoy the show.

What about food? You'll find all you need there, so don't risk getting caught at customs or contaminating the Brazilian ecosystem unless you have a very specific diet to follow.
