Alcohol in Brazil

You will find good quality and cheap alcohol in Brazil, so unless you can't drink Brazilian alcohol, try to avoid the Duty Free:

Cachaça is a sugar cane alcohol, most popular in Brazil

• Cachaça, Brazilian favourite alcohol (about $2.00 per liter)
• Bacardi rum (about $8.00 per liter)
• Smirnoff vodka (about $8.00 per liter)
• Johnny Walker is very popular in Brazil and many grocery stores have it
• You'll find any kind of exotic fruit for mixers, rest assured!

However for Bourbon, it's better go to the Duty Free right after you land.

And if you like fruit juices that are hard to find in Brazil, such as cranberry juice and red grapefruit juice, bring them from home!
